Maybe the next chicken coop I build I will do this. My neighbour tosses out a pallet twice a month. I am going to ask him if I can have them. Then I thought those rods could be pounded in the ground and I could slip the pallets on them in a way making a temporary gate if needed.

   Maybe mix some pallets with a shipping container . . .    Then you would really have something!

Some of those pallet houses looked a little 'drafty'. 

Heh . A tool shed, outdoorsy stuff maybe.....but not my house or cabin.
