I ran across this company on ebay when doing a search for American Builder magazine(which is something I collect)
They provide CD's and DVD's of PDF reprints of old books and magazines.  Here are a few I found interesting

I haven't ordered any of these yet, but plan to soon, so I'll let you know the quality.

They also sell direct from their own website in Canada:

Also, some of the items are on sale now on ebay, 30 and 40% off, but no way to search for the sale items.

Last weekend I order these titles:
http://www.vintageliterature.ca/pd-radford-home-plans-and-architectural-books-on-dvd.cfm
http://www.vintageliterature.ca/pd-1908-how-to-build-and-furnish-log-cabins-book-on-cd.cfm
The Log cabin disc I ordered was the CD version not the DVD but same content.
They shipped the discs on Monday from Ontario and I received them on Saturday, they were sent the equivilent of First clas mail in an envelope.  The scans are very good, much better than I expected.  The only problem I have run into so far is that the scale of some pages is off.  Most pages show as actual size but occasionally one will show up as tho it was scanned from a poster sized image.
The Log cabin disc includes several books and a catalog.  The Paul Bunyon catalog is interesting, they made a log look lapped siding with various trim pieces, lots of examples.
One of the books is the Popular Science 1936/1947 log cabin book, lots of info there.

The Radford disc has about 25 or so books on it (including the 11 volume Cyclopedia of Construction.
It also has a book on architectural drafting which was kind of interesting, and "Radford's Portfolio of Details", which had some really cool things, like a cross section of a colonial style column with a very interesting interlocking joint and a plate with a number of different roof overhangs with various gutter types.
