new land owner

I was reading a book about, what else but cabin design, and came across the Leopold bench.  I have been considering making adirondack chairs to put around my fire ring, but these seem much easier and should hold up to the outdoors.  I am impressed with how sturdy this bench is.




This is the plan I used.  There are plenty of other plans on the internet.

Years late, looking at the old CP Leopold bench plans posts I noticed that someone asked for revised Leopold Bench plans.

Here they are 


Aldo Leopold's son Starker was one of my forestry school professors, but I don't recall him ever talking about his father's bench design ;D
