Fascinating read. Ironic that it usually takes a massive loss of life for us to take safety related steps.  How many times in your own area is there a deadly intersection where fatal accidents occur again and again until proper signage or stop lights are installed?  While I am blessed with an uncanny sense of direction that my wife and children are not. I never enter a place without instinctively mapping out available exists, and, where our vehicle lies in relationship.  Maybe it's a Marine thing, always have an exit,  Even still, with the news about the Walmart clothing factory fire in Bangladesh being attributed to arson, my liking a public places like movie theatres and malls is not on the uptick.
