Best way to post a sketch or drawing?

What is the best way to post a sketch or drawing on this site?

Using an external host as we do for images. But if it is not an image file format places like Photobucket won't allow the file to be uploaded to their servers.

If it is a PDF email it to my forum listed email... click the envelope under my ID in the left sidebar on any forum topic page.   Tell me where it should go and I'll insert it.
