I got some time to work up loads with the new Lee 405 grain bullet Today.
These are WW+ 2% tin and 17 grain of trail boss.

Guide gun (45/70, did I say that) with Williams peep at 100 yards.

Now remember, I'm a terrible shot. sometimes I miss the barn side from inside.

I wanted to try my new handi rifle with the heavy 12 ga slug barrel but haven't gotten my .735 round mold yet. I hot a few Light field slugs and despite being tiny little things, shot well.
This is at 50 yards.

Nice groups Peter. You sure can't complain about them.   :) :)

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

I'm doing a little research tonight Don. That may be a little too hot. Trail Boss isn't quite as tame as IMR claims. It approximates the burning range of Red Dot...just bulkier.

I may go back to 3031. I do love this new mold though.
