Remember those homes that were condemmed in New London a few years ago to make way for a bigger tax base for the city

Susette Kelo even took it to the Supreme Court and lost

and now here is the rest of the story

Pfizer announces it will close the doors to the facility......

oh, and the homes taken by the city is now a weed and debris covered eyesore

My favorite part about this whole story was that individuals set up a trust to petition the local governments in perpetuity to condemn the houses of the Justices that voted for this and to set up a constitutional history center.

I used to work in New London.  Of all the things that fire me up, this story got me going the most back in the day.  Downright thievery.

I have to admit I get a good deal of satisfaction knowing that those who pushed for this are getting burnt by the factory shutting down.  (Not happy about people losing their jobs though.)
