How not to build a 2 car garage

So I started working on my new rehab and 2 doors up from me the old guy who lives alone had a contractor building him a new garage.  I know he lives alone and only has one car, but he's old and a new buyer isn't going to like this arrangement.



At least put the door off to one side.

Well, it beats the garage designed around the width of the car, not accounting for the car doors actually opening

Welcome back Poppy.  Good to see things are looking up for you.

There is also house wrap on before the roof. I'm not a pro, but that stuff does not drain liquid water, and without a roof, I would assume there would be trapped water.   

Maybe put second floor on it and get a car elevator.  2 car garage

They got the garage dried in pretty fast, so I don't know if there would be any water issues, although I don't remember if there was any rain before the roof went on.

People do strange things.  I haven't priced the difference between a single and double garage door, but come on, spend a couple of bucks more.
