I think it sounds mighty optimistic.  Too many people don't have a clue where their food comes from, and they're too busy just trying to make enough money to put it on the table to really care.  And, no matter what anyone in bed with big Agribusiness says actions will always speak louder than words... so let's wait and see what really happens.  I figure it will probably one way or another lead to more government control over what people eat instead of less... that's generally the direction it takes.  Common sense seems to have left us so long ago that it seems an oxymoron to call it "common."
