Good evening just wanted to take a moment and re-introduce myself. About a year ago I joined the site after ordering the universal 2 story plans with the intent of moving into it full time. Well life has a way of throwing curves and I encountered an opportunity for a job I just could not pass up. The downside was that we needed to stay in the Charlotte NC area rather than up at our mountain property in TN. We were still going to build the cabin but decided that for our uses it was going to be a little big, so we ordered the 20 wide 1.5 story and that's what we are building. Some of the work was already started last spring before things came to a halt so I am looking at it that we are ahead of the curve starting this project.

To give a little info on me, I'm 34 years old been in HVAC for over 15 years (family business started young) I have two little ones that I am building this cabin for. I want them to always have a safe place to go no matter what the world throws at us, with enough land to hide the guns so the government gestapo cant find them in a lifetime. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'm not shy and have thick skin  :)

w*  back Brian.  Basickly the same as I am doing but your's is a little deeper than mine.  I have a friend from Charlotte that is building a cabin a good stone throw from mine.  He lives on Lake Wiley I think.  Also have a cousin( Dr.) that lives in Johnson City. Keep us posted.
