Our friends who purchased the property next to us on the mountain received very sad news on Monday. Their 20 year old son was killed while on duty in Afghanistan.

They are members on this forum, with the handle of Roxbury. They don't post, but they do read the posts on occasion.
My friend, Jeff, started the day off with a trip to the burn unit after dropping a pot of coffee somewhere between his waist and his knees. OUCH! Then this news came.

Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sad to hear.

Sassy will be working Veteran's Day at the VA Hospital helping to take care of those who make it back.
