Shower Pan Test on a Tub?

I'm building the 20' wide universal and am finally done with framing, rough in plumbing and rough in electrical. Its time for the inspector to come out. Is it standard procedure to do a shower pan test on tubs? If so what is the procedure? We have two tubs, one on each level and no stand alone showers.
