I think tonight would be a great time to have a baby.

 :)  Well, baby is already made, but just being lazy about coming out.  He really needs to!  Today would be a great day to have a baby, too.

Thought of the day today:  On the upside, I can't possibly be pregnant for the whole month of July, too.
And, July babies are nice... my last one was a perfect newborn, so hopefully this one will be as cooperative once he decides to get here.

Good for you Homey, but it would really mess me up... [ouch]

Well, they scheduled me for induction Sunday morning at 5.  Hospital claimed they couldn't schedule one before then... the doc wanted to do it today, but Sunday it is.  Because of the gestational diabetes, they're kind of anxious to get him out because my sugar has been a problem off and on for the last week or so.... don't want an 11- pounder.

Homey will put you on my prayer list.

Well, Glenn, with all the others, I never wanted an induction.  This is the first time EVER that I've been agreeable to the idea, but then I don't think I've ever been this miserable with a pregnancy before.... Plus being overdue isn't helping.

<hug>
I so understand, Last kid of mine was taken via C setion (and the only 1 of the 4) I had gestational diabetes and the baby was franked breeched. They took him two weeks early and was a 10 pound baby. If I waited he would have been 12 to 13 pounds....OUCHHHHHHHH!

Hope to hear more soon, Homey - had to check as I am working out of town and away from the net.... [waiting]

He's not giving me a lot of computer time!  Went in Sunday AM as planned for induction, but was fortunately already in labor.  Had some issues because he was over ripe (though not too big, thank God!) and because he insisted on being born sunny-side up.  Doc (a former steer wrestler before she switched from pre-vet to pre-med) flipped him, but he flipped right back and came out the way he wanted.  In case you've ever wondered, forceps look like flattened, dished golf clubs crossed with oversized salad tongs.  Forceps + no pain meds = worse pain than I can describe, but thank goodness it was over with relatively quickly.  He is a healthy 7 lb. 10 oz. and only 19.5 inches long, so nowhere near as big as feared.

Well, I will never look at tossed salad the same!  bwahahahaha <hug>
