We do purchase a number of things online. Sometimes it's because it saves me a drive. Sometimes because the item costs considerably less. Sometimes it's just so much easier to find.

I have also found a good number of promo codes online that give you things like free shipping or a discount.

I fimply "google" the name of the firm along with "promo code" or "coupon code" and see what comes up. Sometimes there is nothing, sometimes there is. Today it was three for three in the success column.

Just in case anyone might find this useful.

You also have to watch out for fraudulent coupons.  We have been sent a few.  If they sound too good to be true, they  likely are.

Thanks for the tip.  Speaking of coupons, I have been using ones that I got in Field and Stream.  For the past few months they have had great coupons for harbor freight.  Well worth the $5 cover price. 20% off anything in the store including sale items and many other specific items at 50% off.  I recently bought a folding trailer and saved $60.  Just trying pass along my findings.  I hope it is not to far off topic.

I probably saved over $1000.00 using Lowes 10% off coupons.  Some Home Depots will also accept them.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh, I bought the coupons on eBay for about a dollar each.
