Just in case you missed it from cnet.com news and the Drudge headline but there is a bill that would give Obama 'emergency' control of the internet:

Of course it is all under the name of the need for cybersecurity.  I smell a power of the press issue. 

Wonder if this is the same group that wants to bar conservative talk radio from the air waves?

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
