I love to hunt, always have and always will. I love to shoot...but I've gotten very particular about what I shoot at. If the coyotes and bobcats leave this fellow alone, he'll still be around in the fall for me to think about.

These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

considerations

What a beautiful bird...never seen a wild one for real.  All the ones out here are covered white feathers....or naked and wrapped in plastic.

MountainDon

Wild Turkeys are cool to sight. Lots of folks never see one in the wild. Our mountains around the cabin are loaded with them. They have keen eyesight and usually see you before you see them.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

Sassy

I've seen flocks of 30-40 around here.  Just been seeing a few at a time this spring.  We can hear them gobbling down the hill at our spring.

considerations

The spring chinook are hitting the rivers.   [hungry]  And clamming seasons are opening.

This is when bartering starts heating up.
