I would love to see the USDA quit policing food, and the FDA spending more time safety-testing pharmaceuticals instead of meddling in farmers' business.  Interesting article, especially considering it was on msn.

USDA - FDA are whores for big business.

Mark McAfee - mentioned in the article is an old friend of mine.  I rented from his family and his dad put in a shop for me which I only had to make the payments on as my full rent.  The whole family came to the place to help us clean it out.  It was an old lumber yard, then the shop was built behind the store.

I drilled a well for him when he was growing apples.  He is a pilot also.

I didn't know he had gone into the raw milk business but he is a doer and it doesn't surprise me.

My how things change.  I remember going to visist my grand dad in Mississippi in the 1960s.  Then it was more troublesome to drive to town to get pasteurized milk.  The roads weren't paved -- and it was quite a few miles to a store.  The cows were just out back.

I am having hard time linking the word "trafficking" to this memory.
