I tried to find this on Fox News, who had it yesterday, but this is the only  reputable news organization I could find with it. The actual report can be found online by one of the other sources.

A report compiled by federal and Missouri law enforcement officials has ignited a firestorm of criticism that shows no signs of letting up.

A confidential analysis on "The Modern Militia Movement" compiled by the state "fusion center" has drawn livid responses from people and groups listed in the document. State officials — including those at the Missouri Information Analysis Center in Jefferson City, which compiled and disseminated the report to police — stand behind it, contending it has been misinterpreted.

The eight-page MIAC report listed warning signs indicating someone might be a domestic terrorist or a member of a militia. The signs include: subversive literature, certain political bumper stickers and the Gadsden flag of the Revolutionary War with its "Don't tread on me" motto.

The report also said "militia members most commonly associate with third-party political groups" and listed several political parties and their 2008 presidential candidates.

Supporters of those parties now fear their members will be profiled and are demanding an apology for assertions in the report.

And it is just not about 3rd party candidates!

QuoteIn order to artificially heighten the perceived threat threshold, MIAC rolls in Christian Identity, white nationalism, "militant" anti-abortion activists, opposition to illegal immigration, and income tax resistance. MIAC deceptively blurs the lines between these disparate political ideologies and underscores the possibility for violence in a summary of the organizational structure of the militia movement and a section describing how members strive to train in "combat readiness."

QuoteAccording to MIAC, opposition to world government, NAFTA, federalization of the states, and restrictive gun laws are a threat to the police. "The militia subscribes to an anti-government and NWO mindset, which creates a threat to law enforcement officers. They view the military, National Guard, and law enforcement as a force that will confiscate their firearms and place them in FEMA concentration camps," the document claims in a section entitled "You are the Enemy."

Often, our ignorance is not as great as our reluctance to act on what we know.
