The goal of the corporations and their govt. sponsors is to get our money.  I am pretty sure of it.  I don't know why but it seems like they really are planning to get it to the best of their ability.  Whatever it takes.  AND not only are they trying to get our money they want US to pay for the efforts to take it, to dole it out, to "manage" it as well.  Once they have the money they don't ever plan to give it up!!! They will smoke and mirrors and present "great" investment agendas BUT that money is already gone.  Gone gone gone.  Never to return.  The only answer is to hold on to your money tight, make them fight you for it.  Don't even let them know you have it.  I only had twenty dollars last week, they got $2.40 in taxes.  NOt only is there a sales tax here there is also a gasoline tax, so they got me.  But this week I starve in protest!!! I refuse to pay them a single cent!!!  Of course it does help that I am broke but the illustration is what I am after here.  REFUSE to pay.  BEcause no matter what anyone wants anyone else to believe it is and always will be Of the people, by the people, FOR THE PEOPLE!!! Just make it clear.  Oh and you can bet I am going to want something for my $2.40.

I hear you tanya, those dollars are becoming more and more precious every day.  not just for us, but anyone who has debt denominated in us assets.  Whether that is hedge funds, china, saudi arabia, all the banks and insurance companies, or just good ole americans like us.  Those dollars are being sought everywhere because it seems their just enough it of it there to pay all this debt.

. . o O (some people are still talking about inflation but it seems to me dollars get more valuable everyday, especially as people start really really clinging to each and every one of them.   as far as the purchasing power of a dollar these days, all i know is that I can buy a hell of a lot more stuff now that everything is on sale everywhere i go.  seems everyone needs those dollars.  )

Yep the sales are tempting.  But before I go out spending any money I decide if it is a need or want and mostly it is always want so I just stay home. I am recycling everything to the point of obsession.  My garden starts this year are in everything from recycled coffee cups to cardboard boxes and pop bottles with the tops cut off.  Guess what they work BETTER thant he little pots the nursery stores are selling at .50 a piece. The boxes are particularly good, Yes they will fall apart when I move the plant to the garden but so what the little pots have to be removed anyway and I can toss the boxes in the compost or campfire.  I am pretty pleased with myself because last year we spent about $200 on flats and trays for the seedlings only to have to repot into bigger pots halfway through the process. I also eat a lot less than ever before.  Every single purchase has to have some nutritional value or sin value.  I can easily save as much money as I earn in a day when I don't spend it without thinking.  I don't mind worthy businesses getting my dollars but I am peeved at the taxes going to the big butt holes.  So therefore I don't spend.
