There have been a number of money related suicides lately. Rich people who got poor. Reminds you of the folks jumping out of windows during the crash, doesn't it? ???

Well....it turns out, they didn't happen. It was an urban legend. Will Rodgers wrote about the suicides and was making a joke. He said people were lined up at the windows to jump. That prompted the stories we now relate to the jumpers during the 20's crash.  c*

Important cocktail party trivia. ;D
These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

I can't imagine any problem worth killing yourself over..... except maybe if you owed money to the mob, or capture and torture by the enemy's women was imminent..........
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I agree with you Harry. I guess that's why we're different than them. We have something in our lives other than money.

Demonstrators protest the proposed 700 billion USD Wall Street bail-out in front of the New York Stock Exchange in the Financial District in New York on September 25, 2008. In response to the global financial crisis, protesters, from a variety of activist groups, denounced the capitalist system, Wall Street and the administration of US President George W, Bush. I see suicide on so many different levels.

I see the spoiled kid who "try's", but it is obvious they are attention seeking.
I see the person in crippling pain at the end of life.
I see the person who has no self worth who attempts suicide but fails yet again.
I see those that are the chicken hearted of the world who do wrong and exit this life in way so they never lose control or held responsible.

Then I see those who have some serious emotional scares. Those who live in the pass and can not forgive them self or their actions. Those that are so overwhelmed. Who are consumed by the act to finally get peace.

I guess I am still in my post holiday blue and just blabbing away.
Ignore the man behind the curtain.

   Hang in there Stinkerbell . . .

. . . said the focus was safety, not filling town coffers with permit money . . .

I am strictly talking about suicide, not homicide or murder suicide.

Those are the ones I have empathy with.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

Every human being thinks about suicide because we all know we're going to die someday. Hello? Ya. In so many ways "life IS tough", but suicide can really do a number on family members. Think twice. I always say that there is someone worse of than me, which is always true on multiple levels. My other philosophy is simple... take it one day at a time brave soul! What do have to lose?  :) Since you don't fear death you may save world. Just hang in there~

Maine Rhino...What the Hell?... Ok...LOL!!!
The wilderness is a beautiful thing for the soul. Live free or die.

I see a loving wife with incredable back pain from taking care of her 30 year husband with MS which created her back pain. Treated with narcotics. Overdosing on a lonely back road in Colorado.

I see a highway patrol that finds her and is more worried about breaking the window than saving her life..........
