A divorced friend of mine used to say he was looking for his "next ex-wife".  He also used to say that the next time he finds a woman he really likes, he's just gonna buy her a car and house, set up her retirement, and go about his life.

My wife recently had a reunion with a bunch of ladies she used to do aerobics with years ago. One of the ladies, divorced, said at her age men were looking for a purse or a nurse.  Ohhhhh.     I found the statement humerous.

That's what my grandma used to say after my grandpa passed away.  She went out with a fella for a little while and that's what she decided he was after.
