Homegrown Tomatoes

My girls decided to write resolutions a little while ago.  I suggested that the oldest resolve not to provoke her sisters to wrath, and she kind of twisted up her mouth like it wasn't a very good idea and said, "Nah."  I looked at her paper a few minutes later and she wrote:
I want to have Chickens
I want to raze a farm
I want the howse to sell for real, pleez God.

Being nice to her sisters just didn't make the cut.

The four YO drew chickens and veggies and berries, and then drew happy faces all over the front and back of the rest of the paper. ;D
(I'd suggested to her that "no whining" would be a good resolution. ;))

Oh, and by the way, their justification for the above resolutions was summed up well by my oldest's matter of fact, "But Mom, what is to change?  We're great the way we are!"

we never do really notice the "good ole days" until they are long gone do we?

she sounds like a sharp girl.
