A Gorn as I recall.  Seems he made his own gunpowder later to blow it up, but in the end he had mercy on it and let it go if I recall correctly.  PEG should know. :)

Naw....he shot him with a bamboo cannon using on-the-spot made gunpowder and diamonds. He just didn't finish him off.
I'd have eaten him. Lizard can be tasty. It is like Alligator though, gives you gas something awful! :-\

We ate a rattle snake a couple years ago-- overcooked it a bit though so probably was not as good as it should have been. [hungry]
