I think his "failed" comment means he believes he failed to develop and prosper from the carbon credits movement. 

The skeptic in me thinks they will regroup and blame man made climate changes (whatever they are) for everything from respiratory diseases to bunions.

It must be true. I have my fireplace going this morning and I live in what is typically a very hot climate. I am trying to keep some gas in my LP tank a while longer. Of course we feel cold when the rest of the world would feel warm. Those 108-112 summer temps just ruin us for the rest of the year. No matter. I enjoy the fireplace.

Warming is a regional thing and it's caused by many things.

Warming in the Artic is caused by long line fishing. The longliners catch all the fish that seals eat so there is a decline in seals. Killer whales have resorted to eating Eskimos because there are fewer seals to eat.

Eskimos contain a high percntage of fartigins, a substance known to produce ozone depleting gas.

The whales are literally blowing a hole in the ozone layer.

In the South (Florida AKA South Bronx) it is getting cooler.
Florida gets it's warmth from the Gulf Stream.
The Gulf Stream is warmed by millions of Mexicans whizzing in it daily (Swimming pool effect)
With so many Mexicans crossing over into the US, the Gulf Stream is cooling and Cities like Richmond Va are finding temperatures in both their rivers (Jams River) and state climbing.

It's al scientific. I made it up heard it......from a cop.

I don't buy Global Warming either. I read somewhere that CO2 levels follow a rise in temperatures, not cause it.

Either way, the jury is still out for me. But It's not something Im overly concerned about to be honest.
