So you think we're all done with election nonsense? Not quite. At least not for those in Georgia. They are having a senate runoff because of a quirky law they have. To be elected to a senate seat the person must get a plurality (51% or more). The incumbent didn't quite pull that off.

Why bother? Because if the Dems win they are one step away from the magic number of 60 senate seats and that last thing in the way of being sable to do anything they want, the filibuster, will be gone.

I'm glad I don't live in GA and have to live through more ultra concentrated ads, foolishness and lies.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

Thanks for reminding me  >:(

John McCain is coming to GA to campaign for Saxby Chambliss.  I hear McCain says "he sleeps like a baby these days" .....  he sleeps for a few hours then wakes up crying.

concentrated ads, foolishness and lies do indeed continue to abound.  It will be interesting, the pundits expect a very low voter turnout, seems the voters are sick of the political process.  Imagine that.

No problem.

I am weary of the Obamanauts doing the happy dance 24/7.    To hear their side all will be fixed by Feb. 1.  To expedite "change" I understand he will do much of the changing via Presidential directive.  No need to bother getting the approval of Congress.  Since he IS the anointed one, I guess whatever he does will be jus' fine.

All of those campaign promises made on both sides always required congressional approval to deliver. Seems like the candidates forgot that then may as well just forget it now too.
Racial issues were left out of the campaign process for the most part but they are alive and well now that it is over.
I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.
