A Democratic Congressman has warned that a panic atmosphere is being intentionally created in order to get the financial bailout billed passed, further stating that several members of Congress were told before Monday's vote that martial law will be instigated in America if the legislation fails.

Congressman Brad Sherman of California's 27th congressional district told the House in a speech yesterday evening that he personally knew of several Congressional representatives who have said they were threatened with the prospect of all out martial law should they vote in opposition to the $700 billion bailout.

Sherman essentially intimated that powerful forces who want the bill passed have attempted to blackmail elected representatives.

"The only way they can pass this bill is by creating and sustaining a panic atmosphere. That atmosphere is not justified." Sherman stated.

"Many of us were told in private conversations that if we voted against this bill on Monday that the sky would fall, the market would drop two or three thousand points the first day, another couple of thousand the second day, and a few members were even told that there would be martial law in America if we voted no." The Congressman continued.

Sherman's allegations of threats against elected representatives have also been echoed by outspoken political activist Lyndon LaRouche who told an audience "There are those in high positions who know that if they don't allow this bill to pass, that there are people behind the Bush Administration who will force them to pass it or kill them...". LaRouche stated that well placed sources had told him that the use of armed troops to enforce the passage of the bill is "reality".

Now they're training for the same mission — with a twist — at home.

Everybody here in the mountains has friends like that.  If something actually started it's hard to say what would happen.  This is a land of retired law enforcement, many of whom have seen the light....

I wonder if any of the politicians have fears of going home? hmm 

Seems eventually quite a few of the ripped off people will get the old idea of tar and feathers...

I wasn't in the market but I just wonder ... hmm  It wiil be interesting to watch.

It is beginning to make more sense... Army deployed against Citizens.... Haliburton contract for concentration camps completed and as needed to be built ... disgruntled investors ... as this situation continues to decay and people realize the bailout is just another ripoff some will get mad  then the troups will likely be put into action and the camps standing by right now will be opened...  people will likely begin to disappear.

Not trying to cause undue fear... just keep your eyes open and watch out ... it'll likely take a while.

Nobody will have enough guns for a shootout with the local jack booted thug  swat team or the military.  I plan on using mine for survival - food - etc. if needed.  Until there is cause for concern we will continue to do the American dream as usual - just wait and see if anything happens but be prepared - like Y2K.

I wouldn't worry too much they've had the whole army out looking for Osama for years and still didn't find him when all they had to do was look in Crawford, Texas.

They need shovels to find him- the rest of the world knows he's been dead for years...but that doesn't help our bogeyman story.  Nice job on the fake Osama tapes guys but you need better makeup on the stunt doubles.

CIA was giving him enough money to hide well.  They met him in July before 9/11 in the hospital in Dubai.  Making plans I guess.  $2 million on his head at that time - but catching him was not part of their visit.  Reported in an Italian Newspaper.

I can't remember where I read it but someone said that they don't have enough tanks & camps for all of us. But that if the distribution system broke down and the only food was at the camps, then people would probably GO to them in desperation.

My belief is that the people at the camps won't need food for long.  Dubya doesn't have a lot of compassion for prisoners.  Check out his Texas record.  His grandpa learned directly from Hitler and financed him. 

I don't believe they are the recreational camps like the ones for Dubya's Enron pals.  That is not what the word is on them.  Recreational camps don't need giant cookers.

Read the story of the Jews in Germany and look at all of the recent preparations here in the last few years.  Look at how he approved the treatment of Abu Ghraib prisoners.  He doesn't love us any more than them.  Hopefully our boys on the ground in the US will look at themselves and realize what is going on, maybe even resist a little. hmm

Nope -- I think I will take my chances in the mountains if it ever comes to that kind of a choice.  No recreation prison for me.
