Thanks to John (redoverfarm)

The playground is in Alaska. It was installed the previous day. In the morning this was the scene from an upstairs window.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

They need to put some trash cans in there for batting practice.
I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.

That would be fun to watch, but then you would get fined by Fin and Feathers for not keeping bear proof containers around. d*  Glad I don't live in the city, where it's always the humans fault, not the bears.

I can hear it now, "Time to take down your children's play set citizen, it's attracting too many bears, and we can't have that".

A bear ripped the 1" plywood off of my trash storage box a couple weeks ago -- no problem.  At least it was a 1 time deal this time.  Second time I get mad - 3rd time he gets shot.

Alaska Fish & Game estimated earlier this year that at least 50 (yes fifty) grizzly bears live in the Anchorage area---alongside and among 277,000 humans. They didn't bother to count the black bears. Moose population is over 1000. Living here continues to be a unique and amazing experience even after 41 years!

Reminds me of the old Jeremiah Johnson movie when Jeremiah was new to the mountains and Griz asked him if he could skin grizzly bears and caming running in the door of the cabin with a bear hot on his tail. Dove out the window and said when you get done with that one I will bring you another.
