Facebook?? Huh!

all I need are more places to waste time.  d*
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

We joined Facebook after Glenn's daughter started putting in a lot of info on GENI on the family tree - several of the family are on Facebook & they wanted us to join.  As far as I'm concerned, it is pretty juvenile & I rarely go to it.   I'd probably have liked it when I was in my teens...

I have never looked at it. It looks like you have to register to get a peek. Federal ID registry? Adding to the personal portfolio of anyone who participates.

I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.

That is pretty well right - so I just put junk on there --- like nobody could find me on Countryplans. d* d* d*

No.  I get emails from random people I went to highschool with asking me to join so that I can view their pages, but I have to wonder since they weren't really my friends then why the heck do they care where I am now?  The other one I get stuff from all the time is WAYN (Where Are You Now?) and I actually signed up to see pictures of one of my friend's newborns, and then started getting junk from all of his contacts on there.  Drives me nuts.

I don't get much junk I can attribute to Facebook -  people on there can send you a lot of junk though -- send it to the junk filter then review it ever few days to make sure you don't miss a good one.
