I would agree with you. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!

Politics at all levels exhibit complete lack of a sense of reality too frequently. Here, this last week, sensibility did win out over foolishness. We are not always so lucky. A local councilor had seen a neighbor washing out his garbage can and allowing the water to run down the street. This alarmed the councilor, who was concerned about possible toxins that could enter the ground. He proposed a bill at the last meeting to mandate enforced quarterly cleansing of all trash cans by a commercial firm that would use a specially equipped truck. The truck would wash and rinse the trash cans and collect the dirty water for treatment later. This was to be mandatory, no way out, no exemptions and cost everybody $6 a can, four times a year.  ::)  Thankfully the other councilors voted against the measure.

Mind you, the measure could come back as one of the reasons cited for defeating the measure was that it illegally specified a company to do the cleansing. Law states it must go out to bid. You can never let your guard down or the crazies may get their way.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

Maybe those chickens should just cross the road and get it over with!! No more retelling of that stupid joke.

Well seeing as these yard birds are free- range, they are probably a lot safer, cleaner, and healthier than their Tyson counterparts in that chick's freezer!  If they don't like the noise, it's time for a chicken dinner!

I know! they can introduce coyotes to the neighborhood. That will teach them chickens.

desdawg

Let the chickens run. The coyotes will come. How do you guys find all of these strange links anyway? Do you just google stupid.

;D  No, just checked out MSN to see how the olympics were going and saw a headline that said, "Chickens Creating Foul Problem" and I thought, "That's dumb.... surely they mean a fowlproblem."  So I clicked on the link to see if they meant foul or fowl and got so irritated by the video I forgot all about Olympics. ::)
