The sportsmans classic was this weekend.
Jane and I went and looked at all the new stuff, talked to a few timberframers and I came across the Ten Point Factory Rep. She was famous and has a show on the Outdoor Channel.

Anyway. she had brought a few factory Demo bows that she said she would sell me for half price. Now, there's nothing wrong with my old cheap Horton, but it wasn't a fast new Ten Point. After saying no and walking away a dozen times, I folded and this came home with me.\

John, WV will catch on to the scam soon. Va used to let handicapped people use them so I went to the Dr and had him sign off on me Then the bean counters at the Game Commission realized how many handicapped people were turning up....so they decided everybody should use one...for a small additional fee You have to buy a hunting license, bow license and a crossbow license.

They didn't remember that landowners are exempt from buying any license though

Sorry I have been watching too much Bloomberg TV. The latest I have seen is that the consumer will have more $ available to service their mortgages, etc so the value of the financials may go up. But I think we are a long ways from the finish line so I don't give that too much credibility for the long haul. The retailers like it. I think the pent up demand is pretty high as people have postponed their wish lists so they could pay at the pump.
