They hate us because of our freedom

Many think the terrorists in Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran  are fighting us because they are evil and want to kill us because of that and religious differences. 

Riverbend was a Muslim and in her blog, stated that for the most part before we got there they all got along and told of disguising her Christian friend as a Muslim to get her out of the country without getting killed.  http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com/

She finally had to leave Baghdad - looks like she hasn't posted in a while.  She emailed responses to me a few times.  She was in computer IT there and was Muslim but followed Western culture ways - listened to our music - dressed like us - actually liked us before the Bush invasion.  So many of her family have been murdered, invaded, mistreated, that is not as much the case now - not against our common people, but against our leadership and their pawns.

I think they are common people like you and I, protecting their families and totally pissed off at us occupying their country for the theft of their oil and enrichment of our elite and their corporations, without regard for their lives.  Our forces are taught to dehumanize them and think of them as animals only fit for slaughter.

I know there are some who will say, "Wait a minute, fella.  You're going too far.  The U.S. of A. is still a free country."   O.K., then.  If you're free, you should have no trouble doing something that people have done for time immemorial.  Buy a cow, shelter and feed and care for it, milk it, and sell the milk. Go ahead, try it and see what happens.  Come back and let us know how free you are to do such a simple thing, which has been done since the dawn of civilization.
