Hi all,
I'm working hard on my 20x40 floor plan and starting to go 3d with it (windows, doors, stairs and CEILINGS!).  I'm wondering who all has done 9 foot ceilings with the Universal cottage and might be willing to share pictures?

I'm doing a 90-degree stairwell and looking at adding a couple winders to get that extra riser.

The first floor is very open and should work fine with the higher ceilings.  However, upstairs where all the bedrooms are is much more "cozy", so thinking 8 foot ceilings upstairs.  The two kids bedrooms are about 11.5 x 9.5 and the master is 10.5 x 12.5 ish (plus bathroom and closets).

Anyone have any thoughts with that?

That should work fine. If your family is taller than average the 9' ceiling in the main area will be appreciated.

I'm doing a house with ten foot ceilings not a Universal Cottage - It is a sort of Arts and Crafts Bungalow style.  One level.

People that drop in love the high ceilings and openness that is projects.
