I've been back up here visiting....Maybe moving back....I miss the mild weather.
BUT I am freezing! 68 is soooooo cold and I use to live in Anchorage!

"Maybe moving back"

Better buy a coat.

When I've moved from one clime to another it seemed to take about 3 years to fully acclimate....but then,

my son moved from Portland Oregon to the Houston TX area about 18 years ago and he's still flummoxed by the heat there....

maybe buy two coats.   ;D

Actually the PNW is a pretty big region lots of different climates...if you need deserts we've got them also.

Clouds depress me... I left the PNW in '71 and have been sitting under an Air Conditioner ever since......

We in the Pacific NW have been sitting in an air conditioner and under clouds since the summer of 2009.

Living in the Desert in the PNW makes me laugh at some of these posts! ha!

300 days of sunshine a year here!

However, I moved out her in November of 2002 and during the summer of 2003 we had something like 9 days of triple digit weather in a row in July....now??  Haven't seen anything about 95 yet this year and each year is cooler then the last.  Thank you La Nina I guess, and the sun :)
