Sounds like you're getting there! On the bright side, at least it is hot summer when heavy food doesn't taste all that great anyway.... if it were winter and there were things to be had like crusty caraway rye and pot roast, then it would really be awful. Hope the healing goes well and quickly!!

Today I parked the blender.
Today the last of the removable temporary hardware was removed.
Today I re-introduce soft chewable foods.

Dinner today will be a casserole; brown basmati rice, chicken meat from a previously roasted bird and chopped into rather small pieces, all mixed with green chili enchilada sauce and topped with some grated cheddar cheese. Veggie on the side will be sauteed broccoli, zucchini and onion; mine will have all the crispness sauteed out of it.

But the blender won't get near this meal.
