Lithium Ion battery powered tool kit with circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw...
Extra pair of batteries.

Everything else I had already.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

#1 Ditto on the lithium-ion battery. My wife bought me one for my Chraftsman drills and its like night and day. If you use thier 19.2 rechargeable tools you got to try one!
#2 rolling scaffolding the yellow ones fron Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight, make sure you use a coupon and buy 2 you wont regret it. ;D

Ditto, +1!

After using my brother's set for our first shed project I had to get my own.  We are off-grid and I can charge the batteries with my small solar setup.

We also bought a 4500 watt NorthStar generator for the other tools.

Again on the lithium-ion tools! I bought a Milwaukee 18V set, and they're the only tools I use anymore. I got a drill, SawZall, and circular saw, and they're great! I'm pretty fond of the nail guns, and my big miter saw with a rolling stand.

Wait!   Not during construction, though . . .   After!

I agree on the Lithium tool set.

I have the full Makita 18V set plus 6 extra batteries.  They warrantied one drill motor after major hard use burning it out, and one battery was replaced one and a half years after purchase at a cost of $26 instead of $113 new.  Very good quality.  I also added the 325ft lb 1/2 inch impact and a Rotohammer which does great to 7/8 or so.
