I picked up a bad cold with some upper respiratory distress. Thought it might be the flu but I don't think so. Anyhow feeling like this there was no way I was up to snow shoeing the mile and a quarter up to the cabin. So Friday night I declared I was sorry, but I was not going to be able to go up to the cabin this weekend. We'd had it planned since the last trip 2 weeks ago.

"No problem, dear," she told me. "I'm going by myself!"

And so she did. We've talked on the phone, she burned some more of piles of debris... two piles of pine needles.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

You have no one to blame but yourself.  ;D  Hope you are feeling better soon.

There has been a lot of "crud" going around . . .    I've also been down for a while - With two rounds of anti-biotics and steroids.   First round didn't do it . . .

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Good for your wife!  She must love the place as much as you do - hope she enjoys herself  :)  And hopefully you get over the "bug" you have, Don.  There's been several people at our church w/a stomach flu bug...  hopefully we don't get it.  Neither of us have gotten a respiratory bug but I sure saw plenty of them at the ER...  lots of pneumonia & bronchitis.

It's probably a virus; I've been on two antibiotics for nearly two months for another issue. Of course it could be something resistant to them.

Yes, she likes our place at least as much as I do, sometimes I think more.
