Good Year for Rockies Snowpack

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation states that due to the best snowpack in the past 8 years the level of Lake Powell will rise by 50 feet this year.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

My buddy was up in Lumberton last week for work, and he took a drive towards Cumbres pass.  He said that the amount of snow up there is incredible.  He was laughing and said that I would not be able to get onto my property until July. 

Odd though.  The southern part of NM did not receive anywhere near a normal amount of snow.  Ruidoso is bone dry.  Cloudcroft ski area did not open this year. 

Elephant Butte should get a little more filled this year!

Many of the high country passes in CO don't get opened till July some years. And some only because they send lows through for Jeepers can have fun and spend money in the local towns.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
