Didn't know that Patrick Henry tried to do that, thanks for sharing that, DonP. 

The church has dug itself even deeper in the past few decades as they've incorporated & placed themselves under the laws of the state - so now when the state says certain speech is hate speech, their hands are tied because they've voluntarily signed themselves to be under the laws instead of staying able to practice they're beliefs in freedom.  Many people don't know that.
