Some manufacturers [of camcorders, digital cameras, cell phones, PDA's.... ] make user manuals for their products available for download on their own web sites, some don't. Sometimes they don't list the manuals for older models.

I recently needed to find a manual for a discontinued Sony Camcorder I sniped off ebay. I came across this site in my searching. They had the manual available for free download.  Other info as well. They ask for an email before allowing a download, but I found you can skip it and it still works.
