Here is a worksheet that was done by a member of the forum in Excel format. It was used for the 20x30 1.5 story cottage plan(modified to be 32' long) but could be adjusted for other plans. The author has a useful table of materials where he has plugged in (old) local prices. This would be a good starting point to update this table with your own local prices. This alone would be valuable and could then be shared with others in your same area of the country.

I will add other version of this sheet if you find it helpful for your project and you are willing to share your data collection work with others.
