Fnished cost per square foot?

Have any of you who've finished your builds in the last year or two calculated your cost per finished square foot (not including land)?

I know there are wide variances based on finishes and area of the country, but would love to check my estimating against some real experience.  If possible share how many levels/floors, area of the country, and a summary of any contracted labor.

I hired and worked with a builder to build my wife's design for a shell. Finished exterior except paint. That was $150 per square foot.
We finished the electrical, plumbing, and surfaces.

So, the finished cost was probably $80 per square foot with our free labor.
