metal roof trim question

I am getting ready to install metal roof (exposed fasteners) and don't know hot the rake trim will install where it meets transition flashing. I know to install the lower panel first then transition flashing then upper panel, but what about the rake trim?

You probably need to install the gable trim on the lower pitch first, then the transition, upper roofing panels, then upper gable trim.  Make sense?
