I wish I could say this was a weekend project, but it has been underway too long for that.  Way, way too long.  But the reassembly started Friday at 10:30 am or so, and I just tightend up the drawer pulls and called it quits for the day.

I saved the old cabinet carcass that was there and re-banded and put fresh drawers and doors.  Put in better drawers on blumotion glides, found the granite as a leftover piece, and the vessel bowls are marble which are on clearance.  Got the faucets off ebay for $35 each, found the mirrors in the clearance pile at Lowe's.

I'm not saying I am cheap, but if Fred Sanford was to make a vanity, it would probably be just like this one.

Wow, really nice looking work! I like what I can see of the tub and surround, too.. Is the floor (going to be?) tile as well?

Nice job!  Those faucet's are , ah , different :)  Does the water run into the glass cup then into the sink??   They look like some thing from a Buck Roger's show!  :o  I'm not sure if they're  8) or  ???  LOL

When in doubt , build it stout with something you know about .

Very nice work. It would be nice to see some before and after pictures of the cabinets.

I don't think I have any pictures of just the case of the cabinet.  But here was a "before" picture.

Yes, those faucets are a bit different.... We've had problems with water spots on other marble in the house.  Even with keeping a counter top towel for mopping up drops.  So I wanted to try these as they have the control in the top of the dish, so all the water stays over the sink.

I need to find some shutoff valves that I can open halfway, as this faucet puts out way too much water.

Dontcha love it when a transformation plan comes together?
I've seen those sink/bowls in the stores and often wondered how they'd work for me, as when I'm done primping of a morning, it looks like a flock of birds had their way.
Nicely done, Shooter.
I'm enjoying all that I own, the moment.

Thanks...

Went to do final assy on the shower controls yesterday, only to find out that I neglected to install an important part of the control, which was now behind hardiboard and .... gulp... tile.

Had to tear off some of the tile, luckily it was 2" square tiles at the controls.  Got it re-built and tiled again yesterday, and replaced grout today.

Dontcha love doing stuff twice?   d*

At least it wasn't some one piece shower wall/enclosure.   ;D ;D

Looks very nice. Anyone try to pick up the bowl and move it yet?
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
