Hello ! I am new here and would like to know if the 1 1/2 Home 20'x30' home could be built using the panel system?
Thanks,Randall! ???

First off welcome!   w*

I am assuming you are referring to SIPs or Structural Insulated Panels.  Yes it could.
Are you looking to design and build the panels yourself or turning that over to a SIP manufacture?

The 1 1/2 does use a ledger board that might be a sort of design problem using SIPs but I do not see why it could not be designed around.  Of course John Raabe the owner of this site and Country Plans http://www.countryplans.com/ would be able to give you better insight that I.
Proverbs 24:3-5 Through wisdom is an house builded; an by understanding it is established.  4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.  5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

Been thinking it mite speed things up to do some of the work in town, then move the panels to the  build site?

Ah, yes. Anything is possible. In part it depends on how well one can plan and then execute the plan. Some of us may be more equal than others on that thought.  ;D

One other member did a similar thing with a smaller structure; 14 x 20

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
