Hi, I am early 30's, married, we both have white collar jobs, suit and tie blah blah blah and own 20 acres free and clear next to Branson, MO. The land is a rectangle shape, fully timber, mostly hardwoods, a major creek running along side the west border, paved road to property, electric, power and sewer ran to edge of property.  Eventually we'd like to build our dream home on the land, but want to live in a tiny home for a couple years and save $$$ before we build. I've looked into those two story barns at lowes and the price is around $6k, I know I can build it cheaper but do not have the time at all. I would eventually like to have the option to move the barn to a different spot on property after my home is built.
Are we nuts for doing this, should we just buy a trailer instead?  I can insulate it, put in a wood burning stove, but am concerned about waste water, hot water, etc...any thoughts would be great.
Thanks Jim
