Well I did it I bought a pallet of Evergreens from Sunelec

  78 cents per watt

I think the guy said that they sold 8 Megawatts of panels in the last week or so

Wow!   Nice price on a reputable brand.  One step closer to your dream.   Congrats!   I bought two panels at $1.70 and thought it was a bargain.

Apparently the Evergreen factory closed (and moved to China I think but not sure) Sunelec bought out the entire stock at auction

it ended up being over buget, but at this point I'm thinking tangible useful things are better than paper

now for the batteries
