A question for the country plans builders

Hello,

I am in the process of putting together my materials list for the build of a 1 1/2 story 20x40.  I have the materials that I believe I will need for my build already together and I turned them into Lowes Bid room.

My question is this, is there anything aside from the obvious building materials that I need to be buying that maybe you forgot and had to run out to get it.  I would love to try and cover all my bases before breaking ground.  Thanks in advance for your help and knowledge.

Getting a good set of tools together is good prep. And, if you don't have them already, the first two books in this list: http://www.countryplans.com/books.html is a good thing to get comfortable with. Wagner has a good list of tools - both hand and power - and tips on using them.
