Goodbye to Doc Watson

We were at a Western Music - Blue Grass get together this evening.  There one bands announced the passing of Doc Watson on May 29, 2012 and they did a tribute ..... :(  I missed it on the news as I was on the mountains then.....Doc I will miss you and the love you had for people, music and of course Merle.  God Bless

By the end of the first word or as the second note of an instrumental faded, you knew it was Doc. The din of construction would often run a little quieter for a few minutes. The last time I saw him he was with Merle. I'm sure they're on the front porch trading licks again.
