I've got about half the roof done, but haven't been working on it every day. I had welded porch columns made, so once I got those, I decided to build the porch roof first. It is a gentler 3/12 pitch, and closer to the ground, so I'm going to go ahead and get the porch roof done, and use that as a platform to do the rest of the sheathing. We've also had a couple days that were far too windy for roof sheathing. This isn't a race; I'm taking it slow and careful.

I'm not poor- I'm financially underpowered.

Hey Jay...

If you are interested, I could take a ride up there this weekend and help you out all day Saturday from say 1pm on and part of Sunday.... I got plenty of strength and I work hard!

All I would ask for in return is some grass space for my tent, a place to charge my phone, and not demanded, but any contribution for fuel for driving there

Two men could make significant progress working together, I will follow all your ideas and plans

Just let me know, I am free and willing to help out a good man build his house
