Well Glenn, I'm curious? Is Tahoe still standing? And just in case you should be in Vegas, I'll be there on bidness on Jan 10 and 11. I don't spend much time there as I don't gamble and not much to do unless you want to give away your money. I just figure they don't pay those horendous electric bills at the casinos by letting gamblers walk out with a bunch of winnings!

Len, I appreciate your information and it's good to know you are in Malakoff. If you take Hwy 31 west out of Malakoff to Trinidad, turn right on Hwy 274 about 5 miles and turn right again, you are very close to my place. Since you are new to the area you probably don't know the old Marimac Marina. It closed a couple of years ago. I am just before you get to it.
Anyway, even though you are not building yet, don't hesitate to stop in for a visit. I'm alway glad to show off my meager building skills.
I hope to have new pics up on my blog site after this weekend. I'll be down there working this weekend.
And I know Springtown. Used to live in Boyd ...if you can believe that! My son is a detective on Ft Worth PD in charge of computer crimes...he actually started the division and teaches computer forensics all over the world now...his Chief likes all the pub he gets for the PD.

We tore Tahoe up a bit, but it's still there.

Vegas is a bit of a stretch for me but a bit closer and we'd give it a go.  Probably about 10-12 hours one way.  We will make it one day though, BoB.

Small world, huh?  I taught in Fort Worth's north side, just off Long and Azle Ave.  Pretty bad area, but I loved the kids.  Congrats to your son, sounds like a great accomplishment and very needed.
